PCA—Werks Reunion concours and corral parking spots are selling out fast as more members register, and the event has surpassed last year's attendance of 500 Porsches. Register now — don't wait — to secure a spot, and register by end-of-day July 27 to be entered into a raffle by Michelin, who is giving away a set of tires every hour, a trip to the 24 Hours of Le Mans next year, and a trip to the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta. Rennsport Reunion V: Call for PCA volunteers
PCA—Are you coming to Rennsport Reunion V? Do you want to have an active role
in the event? If so, there are still volunteer positions to be filled at the Porsche Club of America hospitality tent and the Porsche corral for all three days. As a token of its appreciation, Porsche Cars North America will provide limited-edition/not-available-for-purchase volunteer shirts. MotorAuthority—Just days after a completely undisguised version of Porsche’s updated 911 Carrera, the Type 991.2, was spotted tested on the Nürburgring, some of the official specs have surfaced in German media. The leaked specs confirm the updated 911 Carrera models will adopt smaller, turbocharged engines, meaning the only 911 variants to be naturally aspirated going forward will be the track-focused GT cars.
