PCA—It's official: The winners of the 2015 Spring Member Only Raffle have been chosen, the prizes accepted, and that means the only Cayman GT4 without an owner has found one, as well as a Cayman GTS, a Cayman S, and three Caymans.
PCA—Doug Dopjera of the Lone Star Region won our $100 webstore prize for July, and YOU could win in August — or even the Grand Prize! Short surveys are included in e-Brake News twice a month and they are helping us gather data to improve PCA. If you
didn't take surveys from previous months yet, you can still do so and improve your chances to win the Grand Prize drawing.
New Survey today is Part 2 for the PCA.org website survey. Only 5 questions and one of them is your email address!
Grand Prize: Free registration and lodging for you and a guest to two PCA National events in 2016! Choose from Porsche Parade, Werks Reunion, and PCA Escape.
Any questions? Contact PCA National Office: 410-381-0911.
PCA—Experience the exhilaration of driving your Porsche through history. Roam the hills with free-ranging buffalo; mine for gold at an old miner’s camp; explore some of the world’s largest caves; dine where “Calamity” Jane Cannary and “Wild Bill” Hickok once called home; and tour monuments like Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Escape to Rushmore 2015 for an event that you won’t want to miss.
PCA—Werks Reunion concours and corral parking spots are selling out fast as more members register, and the event has surpassed 600 Porsches. Register now — don't wait — to secure a spot and be entered to win a set
of tires every hour, a trip to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and a trip to the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta. Registration ends on August 7 at 3:59 AM EST. Pictured above is a selection of Porsches from the Ingram Collection that will be at Werks.
PCA—I have only one word to describe today: glacial. Words and photos really can’t describe the splendor of today’s drive.
We held our drivers meeting in Canmore, A.B. with 21
Porsches lined up and ready to go. Wild Rose Region started the day as our host and led us through Banff National Park to Lake Louise. What a spot! This is one of those places you need to see to believe (like the Grand Canyon).
MultiBriefs—A revolutionary creation from the house of Porsche is about to challenge the way you think about the Marque.
It repeats history by following the principles Porsche was founded on — it also redefines them. Provocative by nature, it shocks purists yet invites
them with its benevolent appearance and familiar charm.
Petrolicious—What began as indifference quickly morphed into an obsession.
It also turned owner Alex Bermudez from a water-cooled Porsche driver into one who describes his 964-based “hot rod” The Growler as “unapologetically raw”—and just the thing for slaying tight mountain
passes.
Car and Driver—When we climbed into this plug-in hybrid at our Ann Arbor offices and set out on a 50-mile drive home at rush hour, the instrument panel showed a full battery charge and an all-electric range of 14 miles. That would be in what Porsche calls E-Power mode, the default at start-up and also selectable via a console button. Read More
GT Spirit—On the back of 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS deliveries kicking off around the world, Vancouver has just welcomed its very first example. While painted in the most docile of the four colours and shades available, this 911 GT3 RS is still undeniably eye-catching and will be sure to turn heads when it heads out onto the roads of the Canadian city.
Yahoo—Art stems from a deliberate action from its creator, and it is meant to convey a message — an emotional or sensual response. Art is made with love, heart and soul, and perhaps some blood, sweat and tears. Take a Porsche, for example: The curves move you, the engine speaks to you and its name drives you to a place of bold history, beauty and euphoria.
Premier Financial Services—Welcome to the August issue of our monthly newsletter, which provides insider information for all the events throughout the week in Monterey including auction previews for Gooding, Bonhams, RM Sothebys, and Mecum.
Porsche—Porsche Cars
North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor in the United States of Porsche 918 Spyder, 911, Boxster and Cayman sports cars, Macan and Cayenne SUVs, and the Panamera four-door sports sedan line-up, today announced July 2015 sales of 4,730 vehicles, up 10 percent over July 2014.
Car and Driver—Operating the sort of test fleet we do, it is with fair regularity that we encounter the occasional cracked windshield, bent wheel rim, or chipped hood. If Michigan’s deteriorating infrastructure isn’t crumbling and subsequently being launched by other motorists at the fronts of our test cars, it’s blowing apart other folks’ tires, pieces of which are then launched at our
test cars.
Petrolicious—The Rally Historico Transpeninsular started in
Tijuana and ended in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and I entered it in a 1973 Porsche 914 GT—a car I decided to build for the race. With my co-pilot Jim Burke, we did about 1,100 miles over three days—and what a drive it was.
The Smoking Tire—The Porsche 997 is still my favorite iteration of the 911's line, and even in stock form are quite rewarding to drive. This one has been lightly massaged by the fine chaps at BBi Autosport and has suspension and engine upgrades to improve the
all-around performance without sacrificing daily usability.
Classic Driver—He wasn’t the first young man to meet the love of his life when still a student. But in Hanno Hagen’s case, it wasn’t a California Girl. The 17-year-old discovered something quite different in the streets of San Francisco: his dream car, a Porsche 356 A 1600 Coupé.
Porsche—In the first half of 2015, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG had the most successful half-year in the company’s history with new record figures for vehicle deliveries, sales revenue, and earnings. The sports car maker delivered 113,984 vehicles in the first six months of the 2015 fiscal year, up 30 percent compared to the
same period in 2014.
The Drum—The adage that people see their car as a reflection of their personality has propelled social media to the peak of the German marque’s media mix. It’s a potent dynamic for a brand built on aspiration and luxury, one it hopes underpins its efforts to deliver an online experience that covers all facets of vehicle ownership and connects the virtual world to the
physical one in a seamless way.
Carscoops—You can brush off Porsche's cosmetic makeover of the facelifted 2016 Boxster as trivial, but you cannot say the same about the changes it has in store for the engine bay.
Earlier this year, Porsche CEO Matthias Müller confirmed the debut of the firm's new generation of horizontally opposed four-cylinder powerplants for the mid-cycle facelifts of the Boxster roadster and its sister model, the Cayman coupe.
SONAX Wheel Cleaner Plus for fast, effective removal of brake dust. Sprays on clear; turns red as it works. Acid-free and safe for use on all wheel types. Then, bring back the showroom shine with SONAX Tire Gloss Gel!

The buildings in the background are in Mississauga, Canada (near Toronto) and were awarded the title Emporis Skyscraper of the Year.”
