As you know, Porsche Club of America delivers e-Brake News to your inbox every Tuesday. This is the August monthly recap.

If you didn't attend Werks Reunion, here's what you missed [w/video]

PCA—Porsche Club of America hosted the second annual Werks Reunion concours d’elegance and car show on August 14, and this year we had more than 700 Porsches on display at Rancho Cañada Golf Club in Carmel, California. It was the place to be if you wanted to see the largest gathering of Porsches during Monterey Car Week, and of course, it was free to spectators.

If you couldn’t make it, watch the following two videos (graciously provided by Porsche) to get a feel for the event.

PCA—It's official: The winners of the 2015 Spring Member Only Raffle have been chosen, the prizes accepted, and that means the only Cayman GT4 without an owner has found one, as well as a Cayman GTS, a Cayman S, and three Caymans.

2. Video: 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 Put to the Test on New Ignition

Motor Trend—Conspiracy theorists will tell you that Porsche has been trying to keep the Cayman down since day one in order to protect the precious 911. Whether or not that's true, the Stuttgart-based automaker has finally endowed the mid-engine sports car with 911 power.

3. Video: PCA Spotlight — Cayman GT4 technical analysis

PCA—When we heard that a local PCA member had taken delivery of his Porsche Cayman GT4, we knew we had to get a closer look. Fortunately the car's owner, Mike Levitas, is also the owner of TPC Racing (Rolex 24 champions), and he agreed to give us a technical breakdown of the GT4.

4. Facelifted 2016 Porsche 911 revealed by strong winds

Leftlane News—Local media outlets report that Porsche asked a British company to build a 65-foot tall sculpture in front of its museum in Zuffenhausen, Germany, to showcase the 2016 911, a 1981 model and a relatively early model built in 1970. Porsche forgot to check the weather, and winds blew the covers off of the 2016 model, giving us an early look at it.

CarScoops—There it is again folks, this is what happens when you don't launch your Tesla Model S P85D from a stand still against something like a Porsche 911 GT3.
