As you know, Porsche Club of America delivers e-Brake News to your inbox every Tuesday. This is the June monthly recap.

1. Video: EVO review of GT3 RS has record-setting lap by Jörg Bergmeister

PCA—Let's face it: Car publications love Porsche sports cars, they're regularly included in car-of-the-year comparisons, and many times they win the top honor. EVO named the 911 GT3 its 2013 Car of the Year, and it beat contenders such as the Audi R8 V10 Plus, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, and the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S, to name a few. Is the new GT3 RS on the same track?

2. This Is The Last Porsche 918 Spyder

Jalopnik—Want a brand new Porsche 918 Spyder? You can’t have one. The last new one rolled off the assembly line this week. It’s that dark red one up there. Go ahead and feel your sadness-feels.

Porsche announced today that just as they intended all along when they launched the car in 2013, production has ended on the 887 horsepower hybrid-electric hypercar.

4. Video: Walter Röhrl Crashes Porsche 918 Spyder

Motor Authority—For most Porsche fans, Walter Röhrl is instantly recognizable as the man vital to the development of some of the sports car marque’s greatest models. The rally legend, now 68, is currently the brand’s ambassador and key test driver.

5. Porsche wins Le Mans with 919 Hybrid in 1-2 sweep

PCA—Two LMP1-class Porsche 919 Hybrids were faster and outlasted the competition at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, winning the race with a 1-2 sweep and clinching the automaker's 17th overall win. The #19 car driven by Earl Bamber, Nico Hülkenberg, and Nick Tandy finished first, followed by #17 driven by Timo Bernhard, Brendon Hartley, and Mark Webber.
