PCA—This video was shot during the Northeast Region's 2014 autocross season at Devens Airfield in Massachusetts.​
It's a site where many other car clubs in the area also autocross, including the nearby North Country Region of PCA. I focused on introducing the motorsport and illustrating what it is rather than making the video into a "how to" piece. I hope it inspires more PCAers and car enthusiasts to give it a try.

Reuters—Porsche (VOWG_p.DE) workers have agreed to concessions worth several hundred million euros to secure production of an all-electric sports car at the manufacturer's biggest plant, a spokesman for the company said.
 
Bloomberg—Earlier this month in London, Bonhams sold a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL for $1.34 million. The sum was about this year’s average for the iconic coupe, which amassed considerable value since similar models started going for $3 and $4 million back in 2012.

But prices, while sure to stay stellar for the next several years, won’t continue their exponential rise indefinitely. So the real question is, what’s next?

Car and Driver—Lacking serious competition, Porsche has owned the $50,000–$90,000 import sports car segment for a while with the Boxster and Cayman. The Jaguar F-type is a noisy glamour queen that lacks the Porsches’ lightness of touch, and the Alfa Romeo 4C is too raw. Acura missed an opportunity to offer us something like the 4C from a company that takes quality seriously, but alas, it massively overshot the mark with the megadollar NSX.

Road & Track—With 176 produced, the Porsche 962 and its nearly identical predecessor, the 956, are actually fairly common among prototype race cars, but it's not often one comes up for sale. That's why this 1988 example, offered by Maxted-Page in the UK, is rather noteworthy. Is it worth its $1.18 Million (£750,000) asking price?

PCA—As you may know, the registration process has been split into two phases this year: housing and event. Housing: Phase 1 registration has ended, though alternate housing is available in the area.

It is important to note that only those who desire to stay in the PCA housing block needed to participate in Phase 1. If you have an alternative housing solution, please wait until Event Registration: Phase 2, which will open in April.

PCA—The Executive Council has appointed Ken Hold, Bluegrass Region; Jennifer Webb, Upper Canada Region; and Tom Provasi, Loma Prieta Region as members of the 2016 Nominating Committee. The committee is carrying out its responsibilities in accordance with the Bylaws, the National Manual of Procedures, and the Region Procedures Manual. Its goal is to consider, identify, and select the best possible slate of candidates to fill the Officer roles in our Executive Council and lead the Porsche Club of America for the next two year term. As part of this process, the Committee actively seeks feedback from PCA’s regions on those talented individuals who have the enthusiasm, dedication, and leadership to serve on the Executive Council. UPDATE (11-5-2015): The deadline to get suggestions to any member of the committee has been extended to no later than December 31, 2015.
