1. Porsche announces more powerful, better-equipped 911 Turbo and Turbo S models [w/video]

PCA—Just a decade after Porsche’s V10-powered flagship supercar, the Carrera GT, ended production, the newest coupe and Cabriolet versions of the 911 Turbo and Turbo S are now upon us, the latter of which matches the “old” CGT’s 205 miles-per-hour top speed. That’s what we call progress.

2. Panorama wins 2015 Motor Press Guild photography award for third year in row

PCA—Porsche Panorama, Porsche Club of America’s national magazine, was recognized at the 2015 Motor Press Guild Awards three nights ago with an overall win in the photography category and four runners-up in three categories.

3. 'Barn find' 911 awakened after decade of storage

PCA—It was June and I was doing yard work when my neighbor across the street walked over and asked a question. She had noticed my recent car projects — a 1988 Land Rover Defender (UK import) and a 1973 Triumph TR6 — and thought I might be interested in a car she had kept in storage for a few years.

4. Video: Panorama: Watch Leh Keen drive his Safari 911

PCA—In top-level racing there is a handful young drivers who also are avid car collectors, and the owner of this 911 SC is one of them. This Porsche, however, is hardly a collector car, rather a strengthened, protected, off-road-ready driver that's more at home on dirt than pavement. It's the perfect form of recreational transportation for professional racer Leh Keen.

5. Porsche's electric Mission E concept approved for production

PCA—Porsche announced on Friday it will continue to develop the Mission E Concept, the marque’s first electric vehicle, in the hopes of bringing it to production by “the end of the decade.”
