PCA—Porsche announced the Cayman GT4 Clubsport today, a new racecar it is
developing for motorsport newcomers that will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November. The Clubsport retains the road car’s 385-horsepower 3.8-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine but eschews the manual transmission in favor of a racing version of the double-clutch PDK automatic.

Autoweek—No, it didn’t go the full 10 hours, but the Petit Le Mans powered by Mazda was easily the toughest Tudor United SportsCar Championship endurance race of the 2015 season — tough on drivers, crews, officials and fans, some of whom returned to their cars in the Road Atlanta parking lots and found them axle-deep in the red Georgia mud.
PCA—Carrera 4 and Targa 4 models are getting the turbocharged treatment for model year 2017, Porsche announced today. The all-wheel-drive models will be equipped with the 3.0-liter turbocharged mills recently announced as the standard engines in the Carrera model line.
PCA—Today Porsche took the cover off of the Cayman Black Edition, a base model Cayman bunched together with a heavy handful of standard features that would otherwise cost customers more if they optioned them onto a standard Cayman.
PCA—At any given TUDOR United SportsCar Championship
(TUSC) race, you’ll find all types of machines battling on track, from prototypes to production-based sports cars including Porsche 911 RSRs and 911 GT Americas. One thing rings true on race weekends: accidents happen. And when they do, IMSA race support crews are there to help.
MultiBriefs—You're thinking about buying a new Porsche, so you head to the dealership and talk to the salesperson. You're soon behind the wheel of that new 911, taking it out for a test drive. But before you've even taken the training wheels off to find out how it really purrs, the test drive is over.
Road & Track—There's something a little off about this drag race between a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Pirelli Edition and a Porsche 918 Spyder.
Check out the Lamborghini driver's reaction time. Okay, well, you'll have to skip to 1:45 in the video, because the first two times these cars line
up to race, the Lambo just . . . doesn't go anywhere.
SportsCar 365—The new Porsche 911 GT3-R is set for its competition

Bloomberg—Some view these new/old hybrids as heresy, but once you get behind the wheel of a souped-up piece of history, it's hard to argue with Rod Emory's methods.

Wall Street Journal—One day after Volkswagen AG’s

The dramatic return of Mr. Piëch,

Rock Park's Memorial Day weekend 2014 GT3 Cup race on the short straight leading from "Big Bend" to the only left turn. I call it ‘A Lucky Off at Lime Rock.’ If you are not familiar with it, Lime Rock Park is a 1.5-mile bullring of a track in the northwest hills of Connecticut. Any time you go off at Lime Rock in the spring, you are very lucky if the normally wet grass doesn't send you into tire barriers or mud bogs that form at the bottom of the hill approaching ‘No-Name Straight’ near the
spectator area.”
