PCA—Introducing Treffen North America – experiencing America’s best roads and destinations. It takes the place of PCA Escape and includes a rebranding and repositioning of the event within those offered by the Porsche Club of America. 

The first three Treffen destinations were chosen to complement the locations of Parade 2016 in Jay Peak, Vermont and Parade 2017 in Spokane, Washington by offering a national PCA event within driving distance of the membership.

Porsche/PRNewswire—Porsche AG's Executive Board appointed Klaus Zellmer as new President and Chief Executive Officer of Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), effective November 1, 2015.
The Supercar Driver—The first of three parts of our independent test of the LaFerrari v P1 v 918 Spyder owned by Paul Bailey, filmed at Silverstone National circuit back to back on the same day. All cars had been serviced a week prior and had a full tank of fuel. Vbox Motorsport fitted RaceLogic timing gear to each car and BTCC driver Mat Jackson was behind the wheel.

Road & Track—The man in this video was lucky enough to get a Carrera GT to thrash around a bit on country backroads. Plus, it was fitted with straight pipes, making the heavenly V10 noise all the more glorious. Take a watch and see the scenery disappear into a green blur.

Porsche—Porsche today announced increased sales worldwide in September 2015. The Stuttgart-based sports car maker continues to see sales figures climb, with 7,005 new cars delivered in Europe during September, representing gains of 51 percent.

PCA—The Executive Council has appointed Ken Hold, Bluegrass Region; Jennifer Webb, Upper Canada Region; and Tom Provasi, Loma Prieta Region as members of the 2016 Nominating Committee. The committee is carrying out its responsibilities in accordance with the Bylaws, the National Manual of Procedures, and the Region Procedures Manual. Its goal is to consider, identify, and select the best possible slate of candidates to lead the Porsche Club of America for the next two year term. As part of this process, the Committee actively seeks feedback from PCA’s regions on those talented individuals who have the enthusiasm, dedication, and leadership to serve on National Staff. Porsche/Automotive World—The management board of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, has with immediate effect appointed Dr. Josef Arweck (38) as the new Vice President Communications. Arweck takes over the duties of his predecessor, Hans-Gerd Bode, who moved to Wolfsburg as Head of Group Communications, Investor Relations and External Relations for Volkswagen AG.
LeftLane News—Former Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn is reportedly planning to resign from his other key positions within VW Group brands.

Road & Track—It's a childhood dream come true: take eight wickedly fast and capable cars to a racetrack and drive them until you can decide which one is best. The only problem, for me at least, was that I'd never driven this particular racetrack before, and I had no desire to learn it behind the wheel of a $250,000 Ferrari that laps the Fiorano road course faster than the mythical Enzo supercar. Particularly not with twenty of my friends and co-workers watching. So I asked R&T's Editor-in-Chief Larry Webster if I could show up to NCM Motorsports Park before everyone else and, you know, practice a bit. He agreed, but told me that he didn't want me putting extra miles on the PCOTY candidates.

Racer—On the heels of its surprise overall victory in the Petit Le Mans season finale, the Porsche North America works squad has confirmed it will again field two 911 RSR at all rounds of the 2016 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, starting with the Rolex 24 at Daytona on Jan. 30-31.
Automotive News—Porsche Macan shoppers still can't buy the popular compact crossover and drive it home the same day. But over the summer, increased Macan allocation from Germany trimmed the wait dramatically.

Porsche's U.S. operations are finally catching up on customer demand after wait times topped six months during the crossover's first year on the market.
