Learn how Friedrich Bezner kept the 911 Turbo going during the dark years of the 1990s in "Éminence Grise," by Kieron Fennelly. "Full Circle" by Sean Cridland details the life of a repossessed 356C whose original owner drives it for the first time in years, courtesy of the current owner, his friend. Master of metal craft Ralph Brawley has innovated in his field, and now he's teaching his skills to a new generation in "Metal Master," by Sean Cridland. In "The Keeper" by Bruce Sweetman, read about one member's ideal Porsche combination: a 914-6 with a 160+horsepower flat six.
 
PCA—It's that time of year again folks: The Spring Member Only Raffle is now open! Members have a choice between the new 718 Boxster S or the Macan GTS should they buy a winning ticket. All entries submitted by the June 1 deadline will be accepted.

MultiBriefs—Summer always brings an atmosphere of excitement with a school break, the promise of beach vacations, and of course, the Porsche Parade. If you've never been to a Porsche Parade before, you should check out the 61st annual Porsche Parade, scheduled for June 17-26 at Jay Peak Resort in Vermont.

Motorsport.com—Porsche has revealed the successor to its current 911 RSR GTE machine, which will compete in both the World Endurance Championship and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar championship in 2017.
 
Road & Track—Yesterday, Porsche showed the front end of the car that it calls "the successor to the 911 RSR." The new car is never called "the 2017 911 RSR" or "new 911 RSR" or "911 GTE race car." As friend of Road & Track Phil McGovern points out, the car is simply referred to as the "2017 GTE race car" or "the RSR successor." Porsche's language to describe it is very deliberate. Why isn't it called a specific model? If it's a 911, why doesn't Porsche just say it? There's something curious here.

PCA—Described as a museum springing to life, the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is the largest event held during the famed Monterey Classic Car Week, and is the only event where cars are doing what they were originally intended to do…race. Approximately 550 race cars are invited to compete in the world’s premier motoring event, and are accepted based on the car’s authenticity, race provenance and period correctness.
