Autoweek—We first saw the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport at the LA Auto Show last November. It's a race-ready car with a welded-in roll cage, racing seat, six-point harness and FIA-approved 18.5-gallon fuel tank, using the front axles and lightweight strut suspension from the GT3. Curb weight: 2,866 pounds.

 Gooding & Company—As Porsche’s initial dedicated competition model, the 550 Spyder was an unqualified success and by all accounts a legendary performer. In both factory and privateer hands, the 550 and its successors would dominate small-displacement international sports car competition for nearly a decade starting in the mid-1950s, and, under the right conditions, could challenge for overall victory against the stiffest competition.

Car and Driver—The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is, in our opinion, the king of the vast 911 lineup—although the Turbo S is more expensive to start—and second-in-command to the now-discontinued 918 Spyder supercar in the modern Porsche hierarchy. Needless to say, when we finally pried ourselves out of the driver’s seat of this example to capture photos, it was difficult to put down the camera. But it was worth the down time to capture the collection of spectacular details that follow.

Car and Driver—Porsche is claiming that the second-generation Panamera that goes on sale in January will share only its badge and its name with its predecessor. An entirely new platform dubbed MSB underpins the new Panamera, and the exterior design certainly looks less like an aquatic mammal and more like a 911 this time around.

Road & Track—In 1980, Porsche entered three 924s into e Mans under the Prototype class. The car was an international effort: British, American and German teams all participated. To reflect Porsche's emphasis on its newfound future, these were the only race cars Porsche sent that year: no aging 935, no 1976-season-winning 936. The 924 was the car of tomorrow, and they wanted to see just how far they could take it.

Road & Track—​​​​​​​Porsche, everyone's favorite sporting automaker, will build its Mission E all-electric sedan. The Mission E, first introduced as a concept in Frankfurt last year, is Porsche's first real step towards an all-electric vehicle in it's lineup.
 
Autoblog—In an effort to get the all-electric Mission E on the road, Porsche is hiring an additional 400 people – on top of the 1,000 it previously hired – to work on the production and development of the vehicle.

Our Ride Life—Monterey Car Week is fast approaching and the lineup of cars for sale keeps getting better. Porsche—After a strong run across the first six months of 2016, Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor of Porsche 911, Boxster, and Cayman sports cars, Macan and Cayenne SUVs, and the Panamera four-door sports sedan line-up in the United States, announced July 2016 sales of 3,878 vehicles today. This represents an 18 percent decrease in vehicle deliveries compared to July 2015. Year-to-date, sales stand at 30,586 which equates to a year-over-year increase of 2.4 percent.

Photo by Sharon Ferraraccio. Pocono Region. “This picture of our 1993 928 GTS was taken in November 2015 upon returning from the dealer for its annual service. We have owned it for the past 14 years. It was the first vehicle to drive on the new concrete driveway, which was poured the week before. It seemed appropriate to record the event. My wife took  the picture on her cell phone, and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the result.”
