Dodge saved the unveiling of its much-teased Challenger SRT Demon for the New York International Auto Show, so where did Porsche choose to present the new GT2 RS? The Electronic Entertainment Expo — the world’s premiere video game convention.

PCA—​​​​​​​As a self-proclaimed audiophile, I get excited about new audio equipment, own a range of hi-fi systems at home including horn speakers, pre amps, tube amplifiers, and powered subwoofers, and have competed (and won) in car audio competitions since the ’80s. When Porsche Design asked if I wanted to test out its new headphones (a collaborative project with Kef), I jumped at the opportunity.

PCA—Described as a museum springing to life, the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is the largest event held during the famed Monterey Car Week, and is the only event where classic race cars are doing what they were originally intended to do — race. The Drive—Porsche's new 911 RSR has been a decent competitor in the GTE Pro category so far this year, especially in IMSA competition. 
 
Reuters Canada—Diesel models of Volkswagen's (VOWG_p.DE: Quote) sports car maker Porsche (PSHG_p.DE: Quote) have much higher emissions than is legally allowed, German weekly Der Spiegel reported on Friday, citing test results.

Porsche—Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor of Porsche 911, 718 Boxster and Cayman, Panamera, Cayenne, and Macan model lines in the United States, today announced 4,805 vehicle sales in May 2017. Year-to-date sales stand at 23,052, up 3.7 percent over last year.

Photo by Donald Chaisson. Yosemite Region. “This view is of my 2015 Cayman GTS, on Highway 395, after climbing out of the Bridgeport plateau heading north towards Reno. My destination was Markleeville, CA on the east side of the Sierra Nevadas. I thought the rugged landscape and yellow ground cover was an interesting backdrop to the Racing Yellow color of my Cayman. The drive was epic, light traffic, dramatic vistas, very twisty roads — totally Porsche country!”
