PCA—Join your fellow Porsche Club of America members at the 62nd Porsche Parade on July 9-15, 2017. Parade is PCA’s annual, weeklong event enjoyed by several thousand of your fellow members, who will gather this year in Spokane, Washington.

PCA—In what may be one of its most brilliant marketing moves in the last decade, Porsche AG and Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) today announced production of a limited-edition Panamera Woodie wagon based on the design of its new Panamera Sport Turismo that premiered at the Geneva International Motor Show in March.

PCA—There’s certainly no ambiguity in the title of this tome. Though a weighty 260-plus pages thick, it is in fact confined to the essentials of the air-cooled era from 1950 to 1998. Exterior and interior glamour shots are mixed with detail photography including useful pictures of engine compartments, VIN plates, chassis and engine stampings, plus a fair amount of factory photography and literature.

The results are astounding: In a Porsche Cayenne GTS the performance advantage amounted to as much as 20 hp. The torque increased correspondingly too. And on average the engine generated 80°F less heat. Tests with a Mercedes-Benz C320 3.2L V6 and a Porsche 993 produced similar results.

Jalopnik—April Fools’ Day is dead. You, PR flacks of the world, all killed it with joke announcements and fanciful products you’ll never build. It’s become more of a nuisance than a source of amusement. The most frustrating gags of them all, however, are the actual good ideas that sneak into April 1 announcements.
 
Top Gear—I wouldn’t call it rain per se, more like the air is sagging under several gigatonnes of moisture. There’s barely a puddle, but the roads are offering all the adhesion of a greased otter, and I appear to have early onset cataracts because visibility is limited to the few feet in front of my face.

Porsche—Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor in the United States of Porsche 911, Boxster, and Cayman sports cars, Macan and Cayenne SUVs, and the Panamera four-door sports sedan line-up, today announced March 2017 sales of 4,479 vehicles. This represents a 3.6 percent sales increase over March 2016 and a first quarter gain of 3.9 percent over the same period last year. Year-to-date 2017 sales stand at 12,718 vehicles.
 
Business Insider—We don't lack for sports cars in this world. If you want some affordable thrills behind the wheel, you can buy a Mazda Miata for less than $30,000 (and you can buy a well-loved one for less than $5,000, and you can rescue one from the crusher for, like, $1,000).

The Drive—We've long known that just because you have a fast car doesn't mean you're a fast driver. The driver has as much to do with the success of cars in races and motorsport as the machine, and this is a clear example of that.
 
The Drive—Porsche's 919 Hybrid LMP1 car has gone through some serious evolutionary changes since it was first introduced five seasons ago. As with most things Porsche, the older generations of the car are definitely recognizable as 919 Hybrids, but to a closer look, the cars are actually wildly different.

I took the photo during the Fourth of July weekend last year while cruising around enjoying the wonderful Minnesota summer weather. I was at Birch lake, which is a few miles north of St. Paul, Minnesota. Nearly every weekend, I'm out enjoying my car and the scenery on some twisty, secluded path, or stretching its legs at the Nord Stern Region track events.”
