| | PCA—The most powerful naturally aspirated 911 is here: the 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The automaker will expand upon the formula of the powerful 911 GT3 and increase the horsepower to 520 and to 346 pound-feet of torque. It is the most powerful atmospheric engine ever fitted to a road-legal Porsche. |

PCA—Porsche isn't in the business of making bad cars, yet some models resonate with people more than others. Case in point: When the grand prize was a Cayman GT4 in
the spring 2015 raffle, we amassed enough entries to give away six Porsches. Well, it happened again, and we think it's because members really want a Carrera T. So without further ado, here are the six Fall 2017 Member Only Raffle winners, and a video of PCA surprising one of them. | | PCA—Gooding & Company, of Santa Monica, has announced the consignment of one of the most historic and valuable Porsche race
cars — the 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.1 Turbo. This car changed the course of history for Porsche by fundamentally altering the company’s approach to production and racing cars. |
PCA—The New York International Auto Show is just around the corner, on March 30, and that means PCA members have an opportunity for a preview of the Porsche booth a couple hours before it opens to the public. Registration opens February 28 at 12 PM EST. The event normally sells out quickly, so be
sure to act fast to reserve your spot.
| | PCA—Werks Reunion in Amelia Island is scheduled for March 9, but to put on a show, we need your Porsches! Vehicle registration for display Porsches is open.
Spectators are welcome to join in on the fun — for free!Read More |

| | PCA—A popular PCA member benefit is The Mart, the club’s classifieds section online and in each issue of Porsche Panorama. Mart Fresh is a bi-weekly column in which PCA media staff pick what they think are the "freshest" Porsches currently available, and then attempt to explain their reasoning. Up this week are a 2011 Panamera Turbo, a 1994 968, and a 1993 911 RS
America.

The Smoking Tire
via YouTube—This Porsche 911 began life as a 1975 Carrera with a naturally-aspirated 2.7L Flat-Six making 173HP. Now in its fourth powertrain iteration, it now runs a turbocharged, 3.2L Engine, built using only factory Porsche parts. While the car is cool on its face, it's really the story behind the car and its owner, Marco of TLG Auto in North Hollywood, CA, that really make it, especially the fact that
it was formerly his mother's daily driver.
| | Motor Trend—After showing off the gorgeous Mission E concept at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, Porsche waited only a few months to confirm plans to put the electric sports sedan into production. It’s currently scheduled to go on sale in 2019, and Porsche’s said it expects to sell about 20,000 a year. But as serious as
Porsche is about taking on the Tesla Model S, don’t expect the Mission E’s electric powertrain to make it into the 911 anytime soon. |
| | PCA—Experience some of North America’s best driving roads. Savor the sumptuous blend of flavors, from Spanish and Native American cultures. New Mexico offers a host of wonderful destinations. |
Road & Track—Lapland, the northernmost region of Finland, isn't where you'd expect to see a Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Reindeer? Sure, but a Renn-Sport 911? Only for extreme cold-weather testing.
| | Carfection via YouTube—Henry Catchpole puts the Porsche 718 Cayman GTS through it's paces on perhaps the greatest driving road in the world. |
Petrolicious—A clean Porsche 914/6 is getting to be a rare car. From 1969 to 1972 Porsche only produced around 3,300 of them, and actually it was Karmann that built a good deal of the car before Porsche fitted their 2.0-liter flat-six from the 1969 911T. The VW connection to the car, interestingly
enough for the mass-producer, is why the 914/6 was such a low-volume seller. | | Photo by Patrick Stevenson / courtesy Petrolicious |
| | Jalopnik—Porsche just unveiled the new 911 GT3 RS and, man, it’s hard to care anymore. It’s just yet another fast, track-focused 911 with no manual. Same old, same old. What Porsche needs is something new. It needs something exciting. It needs a fast off-road Cayenne. |
Car and Driver—Ask a collector of any discipline about the vagaries of market valuation, and that person is likely to tell you that the truly unexpected windfalls are the product of oddball passion, not cagey speculation.
| | Motor1—With Ferrari's most powerful road-going V8 engine ever, the newly introduced 488 Pista immediately draws eyes with its radical, track-honed styling and impressive performance. However, latest Prancing Horse has a ready-made competitor from Porsche's 911 GT2 RS. Like the Ferrari, the model represents the pinnacle of what the brand can do by thoroughly overhauling an existing
product. Let's put them side-by-side to see how this pair of ultra-exclusive vehicles compare. |

PCA—Porsche Parade 2018 Phase 1 Registration is open! Have you reserved your housing? Ample options are still available. Phase 2 Event Registration will open April 2.
Porsche Parade, PCA's annual weeklong event, takes place in a new location each year. For 2018, we're heading to the midwest — the summer resort town of Osage
Beach on the Lake of the Ozarks. In addition to traditional Parade activities such as concours, autocross, time-speed-distance and gimmick rallies, the location provides family friendly fun with watersports, boating, golf, an indoor waterpark, and more.
Autoblog—Porsche continues testing an updated version of the Macan crossover SUV, and as such, our spy photographers are getting more opportunities to capture it in photos. The latest photos include one that reveals how Porsche's entry-level crossover changes on the inside. Though not radically different, there are some interesting updates. |
| | Road & Track—The last of the money stolen by Ponzi schemer and imprisoned sports car racing scumbag Greg Loles has been distributed through bankruptcy. |
Car and Driver—There was little surprise at the recent news that Porsche had axed its last remaining diesel vehicles in Europe, with the diesel versions of the Macan and Panamera being withdrawn from sale. It was a move in keeping with the tide of history; the Dieselgate scandal has affected sales of compression-ignition engines on both sides of the Atlantic, and Porsche’s adoption of the
technology came more from market pressure than from any great enthusiasm for it.Read More
Photo by Ted Gushue / courtesy Petrolicious | | Petrolicious—If Canepa Motorsport and Gunnar Racing are the American “meccas” for period correct race prep and historic Porsche maintenance, Crubilé Sport is the French equivalent, but you’d be forgiven for not knowing this. Situated 45 minutes outside of central Paris, a stone’s throw away from Château de Rombouillet lies a pristine warehouse with no sign, no boisterous claims, and at first glance, almost no door. It is
an exercise in French restraint that is typical of those doing exceptional work. |
Motor1—The Porsche specialists at German tuner Techart will debut an even more impressive version of its GrandGT kit for the Panamera Sport Turismo at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Dubbed the GrandGT Supreme, this wagon combines an aggressive body with an opulent cabin.
The Drive—Porsche announced Wednesday that it has started a new delivery program, which will allow customers to pick up their new toys at the Porsche Experience Center in Los Angeles. |
