| | PCA—Much has been written about Porsche's Mission E electric sedan concept (recently renamed Taycan), yet for all of the information about it floating around the internet, there's nothing like seeing the EV in action. |

Jalopnik—Porsche celebrated its 70th anniversary this year with utter domination of both GT classes at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Porsche’s beloved “pink pig” livery
finally redeemed itself with a commanding win of LMGTE Pro, and that’s on top of the No. 77 Dempsey-Proton Racing Porsche 911 RSR winning the LMGTE Am class. | | Porsche Newsroom—Four laps, four times, in less than seven minutes: The 911 GT3 RS passed its baptism of fire at the Nürburgring with flying colours. The motorsport team at Porsche provides an insight into the work that goes into such an outstanding performance. |
| | PCA—In this issue, Basem Wasef drives the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS in "Natural High" and the 911 Carrera T in "Less is More." Learn how one man transformed a 914/6 into a 914/6 GT for vintage racing in the latest Battle of the Builds, "Tribute GT" by Randy Wells. One member's early 912 Targa, profiled in "Rock-Solid Reliable" by David Mathews, was a daily driver for decades before becoming a
concours winner. Several Porsches seemingly had what it took to replace the 911 as the marque's flaship sports car, but they didn't — learn why in "The Pretenders" by Barry Winfield. |

| | Motor1—Most father-son bonding is a fairly low key experience like going fishing or enjoying a baseball game, doing something like going to the drag strip in a pair of million-dollar supercars isn't usually an option. However, a father in a LaFerrari and his kid in a Porsche 918 Spyder appear to be having quite a bit of fun at this quarter mile in Texas. |
Jalopnik—Right in the cross section of “cool car” and “drive ’em don’t hide ’em” is this gloriously well-loved 1995 Porsche 911, for sale, while also being on an adventure from Los Angeles to Anchorage and back. Is it possible for a car to be clean and filthy at the same time?
Petrolicious—“Porsche has been building the same car for more than 50 years.” Of course, this is nonsense. The badge on the back hasn’t changed much since the beginning (though much of the alphabet has been tacked on; namely S and R and the rare combination of the two), they’ve always been powered by flat-sixes located where most put their groceries, and the basic geometry of their bodies is easily identifiable, but just take a look at one of the
early short-wheelbase examples and then a late-model GT2 RS and tell me what else they have in common. Not much in the material sense. | | Photo by SSSZ Photo / courtesy Petrolicious |

Motor1—Even if you're feeling fine, many folks would act sick just for a chance to take a ride around Le Mans as a passenger in the medical car. Motor1.com's French team had the opportunity to check out this fleet of live-saving machines, and they didn't even have to pretend to pass out to do it.
| | Jalopnik—This year, during the 24 Hours of Le Mans race, artist and photographer Jayson Fong sat down to his desk to produce one piece of art for each hour of the race. |
| | PCA—Described as a museum springing to life, the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is the largest event held during the famed Monterey Classic Car Week, and is the only event where vintage race cars are doing what they were originally intended to do…race. And what better way to enjoy this step back
into history than to watch the races from the PCA Car Corral and Hospitality Tent? The Car Corral and Hospitality Tent are open to PCA members and Porsche owners. This year our Corral and Tent are located inside Turn 5. For those of you that attended the Porscheplatz at Laguna Seca, you know this is probably one of the primo-viewing areas on the track.

Petrolicious—Pierre de Meerler’s father was an aeronautical engineer who built and designed aircraft for the entirety of his career, and Pierre was also technically inclined from a young age, a leaning that was surely bolstered by parental guidance and support. He set out on his own path working with cars rather than planes when it came time, and while he designed car parts at a design office during the weekday, on the
weekends he was to be found in the garage working on his 2CV.

| | Motor1—If you’re a car enthusiast, then you probably have a very specific regimen when it comes to cleaning your car. You have your special rags, and towels. You have high-quality brushes and soaps, and waxes all lined up against the garage wall just in case you need to do a last-minute detail before you head to the grocery store on a Saturday morning.Watch Video |
Road & Track—Bisi Ezerioha likes a challenge. Just take a gander around the quiet, airy workshop bearing his name, Bisimoto Engineering, and you’ll see the oddest collection of modified cars you can imagine. In the middle, a Honda Odyssey, bagged to the floor with an intercooler jutting like a bad under bite from its front bumper.

| | Jalopnik—As he watched the video he turned to me and said “Some of these photos... I’m reliving this nightmare all over again.” I was lucky enough to get our social editor, Aaron Brown, to talk about his first car—a Porsche 944. I put Car “Enthusiast” into his lower third, because if you knew anything about Aaron, you would know he currently owns five different cars, some of
which may or may not work. |
The Drive—This weekend, Porsche enthusiasts everywhere participated in the first ever Sportscar Together Day, a special three-day-long celebration of the brand's 70th anniversary.
