| | PCA—In late spring we had a chance to drive a Porsche 911 GT3 Touring for two days, during which we picked up the car and drove south from Porsche Cars North America's headquarters in Atlanta to Savannah. Our goal was to see if the GT3 Touring was good at, well, touring.

PCA—Porsche makes cars that are fun to drive — most people know that. But to fully enjoy a Porsche, I believe that working on it is the only way to make the ownership experience complete. Porsche
vehicles are so well designed that, without working on them with your own hands, you will never find out why the MSRP is a steal.
| | PCA—Autumn in the mountains of North Carolina is that time of the year when chlorophyll departs millions of leaves, leaving behind a glorious scenic brilliance of fiery hues like Speed Yellow, Lava
Orange, Guards Red, and even Mahogany Brown. Queue in the confusion as you glance down through the photographs, void of anything but Mamba Green. Autumn was really late, so I’ll ask for your imagination.

| | PCA—The 64th Porsche Parade has come and gone, with all the spectacle, competition, and camaraderie for which it's known. Our extensive coverage includes results of all the competitions and "The Big Four," highlighting some of the competitors and participants at Parade, including their challenges and triumphs. Count Rossi, part owner of race sponsor
Martini & Rossi, wanted to drive a street-legal 917. The only problem was that he couldn't get it registered, despite trying in France, Germany, and Italy. Enter the U.S. state of Alabama, which registered the car, as long as he promised never to actually drive it in the state. Read all about it in "Barely Legal." Among the great 911s is the Carrera RS 2.7, and writer Randy Wells had the good fortune to compare two, a Touring and a Lightweight, owned by two long-standing PCA members. Read
his impressions in "RS x 2." And our serialized graphic novel "The Spy Collector," continues, in part 3.
All this, plus the latest news, new images of the electric Taycan, and Doug Neilson talks about suspensions.

PCA—A popular PCA member benefit is The Mart, the club’s classifieds section online and in each issue of Porsche Panorama. Mart Fresh is a bi-weekly column in which PCA media staff and guest contributors pick what they think are the "freshest" Porsches currently available, and then attempt to explain their reasoning. Up
this week are a 1990- 911 Carrera 2, 1993 911 RS America, 1987 928 S4, and 1965 356.

PCA—The newly unveiled Taycan will be the featured presentation at Tech Tactics West 2019. Be the first to
| | see it up close and personal as you hear from the production specialist about its development and features. You'll also have the opportunity to see it "unwrapped" as its components will be showcased in the Porsche Training Facility Demo room. Tech Tactics West is a day dedicated to Porsche technical information. This event is for the casual information gatherer to the everyday Porsche
mechanic and will be held at the Porsche Training facility in Eastvale, CA which is used to train Porsche technicians and is perfect for this "hand-on" type of event. It is equipped with state-of-the-art classrooms with lifts and drive train assemblies available for use of our event. Attendees may choose to attend November 23 or 24. The day will consist of lectures by PCNA Specialists, members of the PCA Technical Committee, as well as special guest speakers.

PCA—The PCA Sim Race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park provided close racing and a thrilling kick off to PCA Sim Racing Series 3. of First Settlers Region in second, and Billy Smith II of Maverick Region in third. Series 3 is the final PCA sim series in 2019 and features the Porsche GT3 Cup race car on some of the more challenging shorter circuits in North America. Want to join the fun? Registration for Series 3 is still open. Not ready to register, but want to learn how to get started in sim racing? Visit pcasimracing.org to learn how.

| | 19Bozzy92 via YouTube—At recent press event sponsored by the Washington Automotive Press Association, Porsche Panorama was able to spend some seat time in what are arguably the closest competitors to the Cayenne and Macan, namely the Maserati Levante and Alfa Romeo Stelvio. Here are some quick impressions on how they compare. (Ed.: Count Rossi's
street-legal Porsche 917 is profiled in this month's issue of Porsche Panorama.)

| | Oversteer by Autotrader—I recently had the chance to drive the new Opens in New Window2020 Porsche 911 -- the first 911 Opens in New Windowof the 992 generation, the eighth and latest iteration of the classic sports car. The new 911 follows the pattern of previous Porsche updates -- it's a lot like the previous generation, but a little bigger, a little
more luxurious, a little more powerful and a little more expensive. It's also way up on technology.

Road & Track—Last weekend, Porsche brought a 911 RSR race car and factory driver Nicky Tandy to Talladega for demonstration laps. It ruled. But it wasn't the first time a Porsche ran around the famous Alabama tri-oval.

| | Motor Trend—Last corner. Hairpin, zero camber. Be patient with the throttle, or it'll just push. Start to unwind the wheel, roll hard into the throttle. Let all that weight in back dig in and put the power down hard. Front straight, lap Vmax will be the instant before you brake. Keep your foot in it, keep your nerve. A little farther, a little farther,
now maximum brake. Too far, too late. Not slowing fast enough, briefly fixate on the weeds you're destined to meet. This isn't going to end well.

Autoblog—The 2020 Porsche Macan Turbo proves to be incredibly surefooted when hammered through the treelined switchbacks around Stuttgart. With its upgraded suspension, now-standard 20-inch wheels and Porsche’s Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel-drive system, Macan Turbo's handling greatly exceeds anything else labeled
SUV. In reality, it can put a fair share of sports cars under pressure.

| | TheSmokingTire via YouTube—The Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid is Porsche's most powerful SUV, and also its heaviest. It makes 670 HP from a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 mated to a very trick plug-in hybrid system which can drive in Pure EV, combined hybrid, Pure Gasoline, or Charge mode. Even at 5,700 lbs, the Cayenne TSEH will do 0-60 in under four seconds and top out at
183 mph!

| | Road & Track—It's always weird to see race cars out of their natural habitat. In this case, it's extra-strange, because it involves a Porsche 911 RSR lapping the oval at Talladega. Porsche got together with the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup series to do a demonstration run at the track last weekend before the race, and the onboard footage is a bit surreal
to watch.

Motorweek via YouTube—After a few rides in pre-production versions, we finally took a drive in the production version of Porsche's all-electric Taycan...and what a drive it was. See how the performance EV handles the open road.

| | Motor1—Expecting the 911 to go through a major design change as it switches generations means you are not aware of Porsche’s modus operandi. Case in point, when the 992 debuted nearly a year ago at the Los Angeles Auto Show, it combined a subtle exterior makeover with a discreetly refined cabin without straying away too far from the 991.2 before
it.

Oversteer by Autotrader—Porsche recently revealed the pricing for the high-performance, top-of-the-line Turbo and Turbo S models of its new Taycan electric sports sedan -- and the initial announcement sent shockwaves through the electric vehicle enthusiast community. The Turbo will run for around $150,000, and the Turbo
S about $185,000. That got enthusiasts asking: Why is a Taycan so much more expensive than a Tesla?

Top Gear via YouTube—This is the new Porsche 935, a ‘single-seater, near-standard, non-homologated racing car’. A 911 GT2 RS-based, 77-car track toy that pays homage to the monster 911 endurance racer from 1978 - the one they called ‘Moby Dick’. But is it more than a re-bodied GT2 RS ClubSport? As part of TG24, Top Gear
magazine’s Jack Rix is here to explain.

Automobile—We had pulled off U.S. Route 395 in the small town of Independence, followed a road into the undistinguishable mountains of Inyo National Forest, and parked in a gravel pull-out. There, we folded down the rear seats of the 2019 Porsche Cayenne S we were driving, unrolled our Nemo sleeping bags, and drifted
into dreams as the faint outline of the Milky Way beamed in through the panoramic sunroof. Why did we decide to sleep in the third-generation Cayenne? Mainly because we didn't want to spend money on a motel room. But we also couldn't pass up the absurd opportunity to camp inside of a Porsche.

| | Autoblog—Over the weekend, Porsche hosted a four-fold celebration at Germany's Hockenheimring. The sports car maker held its Sportscar Together Day event with fans from around the world, opened its seventh Porsche Experience Center at the track, ran the final race in the Porsche Sports Cup series, and marked 2019 as the 15th anniversary of the series.
This is the same club championship Michael Fassbender raced in while trying to earn a Le Mans drive. Instead of a birthday cake for the club racing series, Porsche rolled out the 718 Cayman GT4 Sports Cup Edition.

Autoblog—You can still to put the pedal to the metal on the German autobahn, as a proposal to establish a speed limit on Europe's last unrestricted highways has failed. Germany's Bundestag yesterday voted down a Green Party proposal to set a 130-km/h (81 mph) speed limit on the country's roughly 8,000-mile network of
autobahn highways.
