PCA—The Carrera GT ranks as one of the top Porsches to drive due to its shrieking 5.7-liter
| | naturally aspirated V10,
six-speed manual gearbox, and sub-3,100-pound curb weight, but most owners don’t put many miles on them. Fortunately there’s an automotive engineer in the UK who’s put nearly 67,000 miles on his, and he allowed Charles Craven of TheSUPERCARDRIVER to take it out for a day.

PCA—The Porsche Taycan has been making the rounds for various automotive publications, yet we've been anxiously awaiting the verdict from The Smoking Tire's Matt Farah, who unflinchingly gives an honest opinion in his
One Take videos. This morning he finally released his review of the Taycan Turbo S, and it makes us even more excited to spend more time behind the wheel of the EV.

PCA—A popular PCA member benefit is The Mart, the club’s classifieds section online and in each issue of Porsche Panorama. Mart Fresh is a bi-weekly column in which PCA media staff and guest contributors pick what they think are the "freshest" Porsches currently available, and then attempt to explain their reasoning. Up this week are a 2005 Cayenne S, 1970 911S, 2002 911 Carrera, and 2005
911 Carrera.

| | Autoweek—What is it: In 2002, Porsche built the Cayenne, a midsize SUV, and by the reaction you would have thought the enthusiast world was ending. It was the company’s best-seller for a while. Now its other SUV, the Macan, holds that title. It was the same with the Panamera sedan when it came out in 2010. Now it sells right around 911 numbers, depending on what’s newer at the time. It was a funky-looking thing until its second generation,
which solved all my qualms with it.

| | Motor1—Whether you’ve bought a brand new Porsche or you simply enjoy spending time configuring your ideal specification, you’ve noticed that options are generally expensive. That’s especially true when the car is a limited-run special edition of an already pricey model – the 911 GT2 RS with its base price of $293,200. The track-only 935 revival is way more expensive than that, carrying a starting price in domestic market Germany of €701,948
plus VAT. Do the conversion to U.S. dollars and you’ll end up with a price tag of just under $780,000.

Of course, that's understating it a bit, as the truth is that the Taycan has been highly anticipated for years now, ever since Porsche showed it off as the "Mission E" concept car back in 2015. Well, the real thing
has finally arrived, and it's very impressive.

Angeles Times—Porsche’s 2020 911 Carrera 4S is so quick and capable that it seemed like only a racetrack could demonstrate its true capabilities.
So, wary of testing the laws of physics and the limits of the California Highway Patrol, I asked the Porsche people if I could have a couple of laps on their Porsche Experience Center track south of downtown Los Angeles. When they said yes, I forgot the Angeles Crest Highway and headed for Carson.

The Drive—This Christmas, Chanukah, or Winter Solstice Feast, you might find the Nürburgring laid out on your kitchen table. As cool as it'd be if it were a custom slot car track, it's actually a lower-octane form of indoor fun: A Monopoly board.

Autoblog—The 2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo S may be the company's state-of-the-art electric car right now, but that may not last long. In one of its own tech articles, Porsche revealed that it's working on a four-motor electric powertrain, which is two more motors than the Taycan has. And this fancier powertrain is slated to show up first in an SUV, not an ultra-high-end sports
car.

Motor1—The Porsche for the whole family is getting a nip and tuck as our spies have caught on camera a couple of prototypes depicting the Panamera Sport Turismo out and about hiding minimal changes. The camouflage is so subtle you might be tempted to believe these are just current Turbo and E-Hybrid versions of Stuttgart’s wagon, but look closer and you’ll notice some black tape hiding what
will surely be some discreet tweaks.

Photo by Steve Mezzapesa. California Central Coast Region. "This is my 1965 356 C. It was handed down to me from my grandfather, who was the original owner. He bought the car new as a gray-market car. It’s all original, except for the paint (he had the color changed from Togo Brown to the ivory in the
early 70’s). 46,000 original miles. It lives on the California coast with me now."
