PCA—When driving your 986-generation Porsche Boxster, the front air inlets for the radiators take in debris over time, which can damage your radiators and cooling system. In this video, we show you how to remove the bumper
cover of your 986 to clean your radiators.
| | PCA—Part of the fun of owning a Porsche is either checking the option boxes on a new-car purchase, or decoding the option sticker on an older car. Either way, there are just some options that get Porschephiles a little more
excited than, say, a color-keyed fob. Here are five of our favorites.

PCA—Apparently stung by the perception of sales being siphoned by big, front-engined, two-door coupes from Ferrari, Aston Martin, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, and Maserati, Porsche AG has officially teased the much-rumored return of the 928. Speaking on conditions of anonymity, a Porsche AG spokesperson confirmed that, in a nod to the legendary big coupe that was produced by Porsche from 1978-1995,
the new car will be called the 998, and it will be produced with a single powertrain option — the 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8, combined with the 134-horsepower electric motor, that currently powers the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid.

Raphael is an accomplished Brazilian mixed martial artist competing in the MMA and UFC series. He is currently ranked fifth in the Bantamweight division with an impressive 27-7 record and has his sights set on a UFC Championship. He is also a Porsche fan and
owner and loves to compete on the track in PCA Club Racing.

things several PCA Regions and members are doing around the country to help others during the covid-19 pandemic.

| | TheSmokingTire via YouTube—The all-new Porsche 992 Turbo S is a tamed beast. It's got 640 horsepower, 60 more than before; it does 0-60 in 2.6 seconds or less, and runs mid-10's in the quarter. Thanks to AWD, four-wheel steering, torque vectoring, and superior chassis control, the handling and ride are sublime when going quickly. It's also nearly silent in eco mode, the most comfortable sports car on the market, eminently usable in four
seasons, and still the reigning champ of extreme daily usable performance.

Autocar—The Jaguar F-Type is back, with a fresh look and an assortment of new bells and whistles. They have, thankfully, resisted the urge to treat it to a new pair of beige slacks and a matching M&S cardigan, although that must have been tough. Alright, there’s a bit more to the update than the above would imply (a modest engine power hike, a new engine derivative, some new suspension
componentry and some digital instruments) but perhaps not as much as you might imagine would be necessary to keep a current sports car up to date in what is now – wait for it – its eighth year in production.
Is it entirely fair, then, you may wonder, to pitch the ‘new’, range-topping R version of this car into a head-to-head contest with the only-a-year-old 992-generation Porsche 911?

Road & Track—Last year, Porsche invited Road & Track to Sonoma Raceway to drive a handful of its finest historic cars. Among them a 917, and Richard Attwood on hand to make sure it was being driven properly. Attwood—who turned 80 this past weekend—and Hans Hermann drove a 917 to victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 50 years ago. In honor of Attwood's birthday, we're publishing
his conversation with Editor-at-Large Sam Smith about the car. The following has been edited for length and clarity.

Car and Driver—It shouldn't surprise you if we say that the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette is a performance bargain. The new Corvette makes 495 horsepower from a mid-mounted, naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V-8, does zero to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds, and starts at $64,995. That's supercar-rivaling territory at a non-supercar cost. On the topic of rivalries, the Porsche 911 is the Ohio State to Chevy's
hometown Michigan Wolverines, but can the C8 Corvette keep up with Porsche's most powerful naturally aspirated 911 at the track?

Hagerty—I needed a win. The last couple of projects on my 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera were the replacement of a cruddy oil pressure line and a worn-out clutch slave cylinder, both of which left me covered in muck and everything that sticks to it. I wanted a nice, clean project for once—it was time to fix that wobbly steering wheel.

Motor1—Sales of electric cars are most decidedly on the rise. Tesla just posted record first-quarter sales with over 88,000 vehicles delivered around the globe, and a slathering of new electric models are on the horizon. The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo and Macan EV are among those upcoming vehicles, but right now we have the standard Taycan. And Porsche is keen to demonstrate its all-weather
capability.

| | evo—The modern incarnation of the T model line was first seen towards the end of the 991’s lifetime, denoting an entry-level Porsche that offered a more focused sporting intent without resorting to fundamentally different engineering solutions. The same treatment has now been applied to the current 718 Boxster (and Cayman). Can it make us think differently about the overall 718 offering?

Automobile—There are certain rivalries that car lovers can count on through the ages. Camaro versus Mustang. The latest Ferrari hotness versus the same from Lamborghini. And one of the most contentious of all, the Chevrolet Corvette versus the Porsche 911. The latter is what we're focusing on here, having recently had a
2020 Chevrolet Corvette Z51 and a 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera S in our editors' hands in our 2020 Automobile All-Stars testing.

Trend—Pascal Zurlinden, director of factory motorsport at Porsche, got on a phone call from his home with a few journalists spread around the world, including some in Spain, England and at Autoweek here in the U.S. The coronavirus pandemic, of course, peppered the entire conversation, and Zurlinden gave us Porsche’s point of view on the topic. That morphed into a fascinating conversation about the 24 Hours of Le Mans, currently scheduled to run Sept. 19-20. Read on to get an
understanding of how Porsche sees racing playing out in a world dealing with COVID-19.

Motor Trend—Did you know Henry Ford's iconic Model T, built from 1908 to 1927, featured carburetor jets that could be adjusted to let the engine run on gasoline, ethanol, or a mix of the two? Yes, that capability made it the first commercially produced "flex-fuel" vehicle, though "flexing" it may have required some under-hood screwdriver fiddling.

Photo by Kevin Hennessy. Mid Ohio Region. "For my HPDE Porsche I decided over the off season to attempt wrapping (DIY) my Arctic Silver 1997 993 in period Cup and Le Mans liveries. Before experimenting with more costly printed vinyl liveries, I concluded my first DIY wrap
effort should be a two-tone color change wrap. I decided to go with a tribute to the one-millionth Porsche produced in 1996, which wears German police livery and is now in the Porsche Museum. The RS/Clubsport bits were not present on the car presented to the German Federal State of Baden-Württemberg. The track staff and corner workers seem to appreciate seeing the livery out on track, as do many in the paddock — and for some unknown reason other HPDE drivers seem reluctant at first to take a
point-by, not sure why. Photo was taken during a Potomac Region PCA HPDE event at Watkins Glen International."
