| | PCA—Over the past 25 odd years, I’ve owned no less than five air-cooled 911s. It’s rare for me to be without one for more than about five years. And since I sold my last one (an ’82 SC coupe) in 2014, it seemed like I was well
overdue. My 968, while entertaining, wasn’t as kid-friendly as a 911 — the 944-style curved rear seat bottoms found on an early 968 don’t accommodate a booster seat very well. And since my kids like to go in the Porsche, the 968 needed to go.

But there's another car from Stuttgart that can challenge the 911. Despite being silent, it's definitely a threat. And yes, it's all-electric and carries the same moniker – the Porsche Taycan Turbo S.

TheSmokingTire—Let's be honest: The Cayenne is probably the least exciting vehicle Porsche makes. It's the heaviest, the slowest, and the tallest, pretty much the antitheses of the traditional Porsche formula. If you don't need to tow, and you don't need to fit tall people in
back, you should probably just buy a Macan, which is faster and more athletic, for less money. However, if you wanted a Cayenne, the new GTS model is the lightest, sportiest, most aggressive version. With a 460 HP twin-turbo V8, a beautiful exhaust note, and, perhaps most importantly, the best brake-to-weight ratio I've ever seen in this class, the GTS is able to stand up to the rigors of true performance driving without skipping a beat.

Motorsport.com—The Porsche pairing of Laurens Vanthoor and Earl Bamber say they are “OK” with a podium finish in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar’s second round of 2020 at Daytona since it has boosted them to the top of the GT Le Mans-class points table.

| | Electrek—Porsche announced that it has reached a new production milestone of its new electric Macan at its Leipzig, Germany, factory.
The German automaker is already having some success with the Taycan, but the next few years are expected to bring a much greater wave of electrification.
