| | PCA—Ordinarily, when Porsche introduces a new sports car, they do the global launch for waves of journalists at a location with two things in common: spectacular mountain B roads and a nearby race track. The global pandemic has of course changed this standard operating procedure

At PCARMARKET, we are asked on daily basis how vehicles that are advertised on classified ads for a period of time with no success can be
successfully sold on this platform in just 7 days. The answer is multifaceted and to simplify, it comes down to our massive global audience, informative and digestible article on the vehicle, as well the urgency to bid knowing that the seller is going to part with the car by the end of the auction.
It are questions like this that inspired us to create a new series on our PCARMARKETLive Channel called “Inside the Market”, where we talk about the current state of the market, trends in pricing, and ways to utilize the tools that PCARMARKET offers to both buyers and sellers.
Tune in to episode 1 where PCARMARKET’s own David Jacobson and James Barry as well as experienced collector, dealer and auction specialist Kevin Ginsberg chat about some recent sales of note on PCARMARKET as well as other informative topics.

| | Hagerty—The energy crisis, air pollution concerns, occupant crash protection, and the terrifying prospect of stagflation all weighed heavily on Porsche during the 1970s, but Porschephiles loyal to the 911 never cared for the fruits of their revised business strategy. Perhaps things have since changed; indeed, the current 991/992’s demeanor owes more to the Porsche 928 than air-cooled 911s of yore.
|
Motor1—The Porsche Taycan isn’t just any other Porsche. In fact, there’s never been anything like it from Stuttgart. Of course you know why – it’s the first all-electric production vehicle to wear a Porsche badge, but with up to 751 horsepower (560 kilowatts) available, it’s far
from boring. You know how it looks and how fast it can go, but do you know how it’s built?

MotorWeek via YouTube—While there have been plenty of special 911s over the years, you certainly could argue that the Speedsters have been the most special of the special. They tend to arrive only once a decade or so, and showcase the best of what Porsche has to offer. So, I hope
you enjoy this one as much as we did.

| | Autoblog—Once a Tesla owner activates the vehicle's Sentry Mode, the car goes on standby, ready to use its cameras to record any potential threats as they approach. Considering how much interest — good and bad — Teslas attract, there are likely thousands of Sentry Mode activations every day, and YouTube has already become a repository of compilation videos of people behaving badly.
|
Hagerty—There are few jobs more satisfying than rebuilding the suspension under your project car, even if you walk out of the garage looking like a coal miner from all the road grime. As all its joints and pivots wear, the suspension becomes less and less precise in its control of
the wheel and tire, which doesn’t just translate to a poor ride, it can severely affect the handling of your machine as the wheel inadvertently changes its alignment on the fly.

| | Motor1—With 550 horsepower on tap and a top speed of 178 mph (286 km/h), the Porsche Cayenne Turbo packs plenty of punch and pace. That didn’t stop the German aftermarket specialists at HGP Turbo from really putting the S in SUV by transforming Stuttgart’s into a supercar on stilts. Well, at least in terms of acceleration and maximum velocity.
|
MotorWeek via YouTube—While things are slowly but surely getting back to normal in our country, the Porsche Macan soldiers on doing what it’s been doing since it arrived in our long-term fleet 8-months ago, delivering the goods with sports car thrills, all with room to spare for a
growing family and their treasures.

| | Porsche Newsroom—Nothing has changed. It feels like a time capsule. The furnishings exude the flair of Germany’s Wirtschaftswunder—the miraculous postwar economic recovery when Porsche grew from a small family enterprise to a sports-car company of worldwide renown. Successful showings at Le Mans played a key role in its rise.
