DriveTribe—If I were employed by Porsche I'd probably be sending emails to my friends/colleagues/rivals from other outfits and car makers to brag about it. Something along the lines of
"Yo, I hope my email finds you well but did you hear that Porsche Taycan is the most innovative car in the world according to scientists? You may mock but according to an Automotive Innovations report published by Center of Automotive Managament (CAM), the Taycan is the most (scientifically) innovative car in the world because it comes with 27 groundbreaking developments and features, 13 of which are world's first.

| | MotorBiscuit—If you want stellar fuel economy numbers, then the 2020 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S e-Hybrid is not a good choice. But then again, no one
would ever buy a Porsche to save money at the pump anyway. However, if you want loads of power, a bevy of luxurious amenities, as well the ability to save some fuel in comparison to say, a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, then this iteration of the Cayenne could be for you.
|
CarScoops —Performance-focused SUVs are so common nowadays that it has become difficult for carmakers to launch models that stand out from the pack.
However, with the Macan Turbo, we think Porsche has done just that. First up are the looks. Whereas many of the SUVs which the Macan Turbo competes against are dominated by sharp angles and angular edges with bloated bumpers and swollen grilles, the design of the range-topping Macan is more restrained.

when purchasing a used Panamera. This is most comprehensive and complete buyer's guide from a real Panamera owner.

CarBuzz—The Porsche Cayenne is one of the German automaker's most popular models, having nearly doubled its sales figures this year. Not only is it
luxurious, handling like a much smaller car, it's also a performance force to be reckoned with its range of V8 engines and you can even take them off-roading. We think it's one of the best cars out there, period. One thing you wouldn't consider a major selling point is the Cayenne's top speed.
| | |
| | InsideEVs—Porsche copes surprisingly well in the first half of 2020, as the brand's global sales decreased by only 12% year-over-year to 116,964.
It's a very small drop compared to the overall industry. We are of course most interested in the all-electric car sales - the Taycan model noted 4,480 sales globally. That's about 3.8% of Porsche's total sales.
|
DrivetTribe—The 2020 Porsche Macan Turbo is a last hoorah for this generation, a proper send off for Macans with internal combustion engines!
| | |
| | TopGear —Remind me what a Porsche Cayenne GTS is all about… Handling. Porsche will sell you a ‘GTS’ in loads of flavours: the Boxster and Cayman, now
with a proper engine again, the 911 of course, the Macan, and the Panamera. GTSs are usually the Porsche engineering teams’ baby. Not as quick as a Turbo S, but probably the version that the chassis boss would choose as a company car.
|
SuperCars—Welcome to the first official post of T’s Corner. I inaugurated the space by prefacing some of the expectations and intentions of this area, from both myself as the writer, and
for you as the audience. In line with this, I will begin by chronicling my recent purchase of a 2020 Porsche Taycan 4S. In real-time, I am at the 18th day of ownership with around an unintentionally serendpidous 1,800 km on the odometer at the time of writing.

| | Motor1—A grand touring car is supposed to be able to blast down the highway at high speeds while still keeping the occupants comfortable. Judging
by this video from AutoTopNL, the Porsche Panamera GTS is able to achieve these requirements with ease. The driver stars with the Panamera GTS from a dead stop at the side of the road and uses the launch control to get a rapid start.
|
AutoExpress—Porsche claims that the Macan is “the sports car of the SUV segment”; it’s not exactly an out-and-out sports car, but the Macan certainly is the best-driving SUV on sale
today. Four-wheel drive means there’s lots of grip on offer, so it’s a strong performer regardless of road conditions, while the standard-fit seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic gearbox means the Macan is a beautifully relaxed car to drive.
| | |
| | MotorBuscuit—Porsche’s aren’t cheap. Well, they are if you buy one used, anyways. A new Porsche is going to cost you some serious money, however.
And to be honest, it might just be worth it.
|
Motor1—The Porsche Taycan isn’t just any other Porsche. In fact, there’s never been anything like it from Stuttgart. Of course you know why – it’s the first all-electric production
vehicle to wear a Porsche badge, but with up to 751 horsepower (560 kilowatts) available, it’s far from boring. You know how it looks and how fast it can go, but do you know how it’s built?
| | |
| | CarWow via YouTube —Get ready for a VW Group SUV drag race!! …Oh, doesn’t sound that exciting? Well, you might want to
take another look at the line-up - as these are all high-performance SUVs! Lamborghini Urus vs Porsche Cayenne Turbo S vs Bentley Bentayga vs Audi RSQ8!
|
Road & Track—The M8 Competition is no joke. It's the most powerful car BMW sells, packing a twin-turbo V-8 with 617
horsepower. Thanks to a quick-shifting eight-speed transmission and standard all-wheel drive, it's able to sprint to 60 mph in three seconds.
| | |
| | Gear Patrol—When it launched last year, the Porsche Taycan revolutionized what we thought of both Porsches and electric
cars by being damn good at being both. It’s every bit a Porsche in the way that matters — style, luxury, and of course, ridiculous all-around performance and driving enjoyment — but while also delivering the zero-emissions power of an EV. (And, in typical Porsche fashion, it even underpromises and overdelivers on range.)
|
| | MotorTrend—A Porsche GTS is, "Always the sportiest offer within the model line." So said a Porsche presentation about the latest flavors of the 2021 Cayenne, the GTS and GTS Coupe. The
five minute-long video began with—of all things—a 904 GTS and none other than the legend himself Walter Rohrl talking about said 904 GTS.
|
Motor1—Hands down, Porsche has outdone itself with the 2021 911 Turbo S. The new range-topper 911 is a huge improvement from its predecessor; it's now the quickest and most powerful 911
Turbo ever. But there's another car from Stuttgart that can challenge the 911. Despite being silent, it's definitely a threat.
| | |
| | HotCars—Ever since the EV revolution began, there's been a lot of pressure on established automakers to push out models with no tailpipe emissions. Luckily, most automakers got on the
train pretty quickly, and started releasing their own take on the EV. But almost none of these were quite as big of a deal as the Porsche Taycan sports car.
